After decades of hard work and perseverance, Ad Vice Marketing founder Lisa Chatfield has retired.
Lisa’s career in marketing began in 2000, when she worked in radio, television, and print as an Account Executive for WZOK, WROK, WKGL, WXXQ, WTVO, and Fox 39 television stations. She later served as Sales Manager and Director of Sales for WNTA, WXRX, WGFB, and WRTB radio stations.
Armed with over a decade of experience and driven to help local businesses succeed by simplifying their marketing decisions, Lisa started Ad Vice Marketing in 2013. Over the years, she has built long-lasting client relationships, developed impactful marketing strategies, and remained committed to giving back to the community. She created a team culture that encourages grace, compassion, and excellence through her exceptional leadership, dedication to equity, and open-door policy. Starting a business takes courage. Growing that business takes grit. Establishing a healthy team takes vision, the ability to inspire and motivate, empathy, and an eye for talent - all qualities that describe Lisa as a business partner and leader.
Reflecting on her time with Ad Vice Marketing, Lisa credits her success to her team. "The biggest accomplishment is creating a company that will continue long after my retirement," she says. "And that's truly due to the dynamic and talented Ad Vice Marketing team. I've pinched myself daily because I've been so blessed to work alongside the most brilliant people I know."
As Lisa embarks on the next phase of her life, she offers this advice for other business owners: “Hire people who are smarter than you. Give them the tools and the support needed to grow exponentially. Reward their individual and team accomplishments and treat them as partners in the company.”
We will miss Lisa’s daily guidance, witty quips, and laughter around the office. But we are so proud of her accomplishments and grateful to be part of her legacy.
